It's getting intense guys.

Vintage, I have always been the biggest fan of it just like my mom. 1950's and even before. I love it all. So I thought, ''Hey, lets start trying to take vintage pictures!'' So now I am attempting my vintage style looking photos. Hope they look okay. (My theme was.. Vintage Alice and Wonderland) Anyway..Love ya! ~Lyssa

I won. FIRST PLACE! :D

So, I am a very excited today. I recieved a letter today saying I won first place in the Teen Espressions photo contest! :) I AM SO EXCITED! I WON. WOOHOO! ;DD :DDD I submitted a photo named: Give A Helping Hand. I am very proud of this photo:) I will be awarded on May 24th and I will recieve a chas prize and have my photo in the newspaper. I am so excited:) Is this really happening?  I honestly still can't believe it. Anyway, Here is the photo:')

Most of the people reading this blog probably have been following me and my journey to Japan. But if not, I will introduce myself. My name is Allyssa Metcalf I am 14 and I my dream is to go to Japan my sophomore year of high school as an exchange student. But this isn't what this particular blog is about. This blog is about how I think photography tells a story. And that its more than art. Its better than art. A lot of you who follow me probably don't know I love photography.I take photos of nature, people and of anything that I believe tells a story.
